Alpine Walking Holidays
There are over 200km of marked walking trails on the Aravis massif alone. With routes meandering through gentle alpine meadows, or 1000 metre plus climbs, scrambles and exposed ridge walks there's something to suit all levels. You can even take a ski lift to the top and walk down in July & August.
The scenery is stunning with amazing views of Mont Blanc, which if you're lucky you can share with the local flora and fauna. You can often see chamois, bouquetin, marmottes and eagles. There's even a pair of Bearded Vultures - the largest European bird.
You can go your own way, use our maps and routes, hire a guide or join an organised themed walk.
You can enjoy walking in the mountains all year round, though some of the best times are in May and June when the snows are receding and the days are long and sunny but not too hot.
