This year we have again teamed up with 'Aravis Challenge' to offer you specialist courses for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders. Aravis Challenge is run by Yann and Freddy Quenet. Yann is an ex world cup mogul skier and was runner up in the 1999 European Extreme Skiing Cup. He was also the coach to the British Mogul Team.

Most holidays skiers think that they will never achieve this Nirvana but don't be put off, Yann reckons that if you can ski confidently on red runs he can teach you how to ski off piste!

Improving Technique

With Manu (Emanuel Shiltz) one of the best French instructors we have ever met. Manu is a stickler for technique and will work you hard for the whole lesson rather than have you just following him around the slopes. Manu can be booked by the hour for as many lessons as you like and choose what you want to work on. For example carving, steep slopes, bumps or just general tips and pointers.

Moguls

Perfecting your mogul skiing technique Keep getting stuck in a rut! learn to ski bumps or perfect your technique with Yann Quenet, former British freestyle team coach, second in the world mogul championships 1995 and former French freestyle team member.

Advanced Freestyle Snowboarding Courses

Getting big air on your snowboard Again with Aravis Challenge - learn or perfect your freestyle snowboard technique in the superb La Clusaz snowpark (one of the biggest & best in France) or out on the mountain in the natural terrain at La Balme. Fabien (Tip-Top) Blanco a former French freestyle team member will help you perfect your jumps, rails and get big air.

Tap in to this wealth of knowledge, you can book Yann or one of his team either privately by the day or half day or join in with one of their group lessons which run each day.

Offpiste Ski Guiding

Champagne powder skiing The best and safest way to enjoy the challenging off piste here in the Aravis. Most of the guides at Aravis Challenge we're born here and know the region intimately. They will find the best conditions for you to enjoy, often finding fresh untracked powder when you think its all finished.
